Senior Python dev with a soft spot for AI infrastructure.
I build the parts of AI products no-one sees but everyone depends on — pipelines, retrieval, inference, integrations, and the boring-looking systems that turn a demo into a product.
I'm Azaz Rashid, a senior Python developer based in Weimar, Germany. I've spent the last five-plus years building backends — most recently architecting Brilio, an enterprise AI agent platform, with FastAPI, Azure, Airflow, and a mix of LLMs.
Before Brilio I was at Venrup for two years, building internal tooling for an e-commerce group and architecting FuelMediaTV, a multi-tenant promo-video SaaS on AWS. Before that I was at Rapidev running a high-volume scraping pipeline I migrated to Kafka for 200% throughput, and at PanaceaLogics doing NLP for document analysis.
I started out as an ML engineer at the Center for Advanced Studies in Energy at UET Peshawar, where I built a CNN+LSTM model that predicted aircraft engine remaining-useful-life with 98% accuracy. That's where I learned to take models seriously as software — instrumented, reproducible, and shipped.
I'm currently doing a Master's in Computer Science for Digital Media at Bauhaus Universität Weimar, and open to roles where I can keep building production AI systems end-to-end.
